Our Outstanding Committees-Conference

Introducing the ‘Our Outstanding Committees’ series. Throughout the next several weeks leading up to the annual conference you will be introduced to each of RMASFAA’s 12 committees, the committee members and find out all that they accomplished this year.

The 2016 RMASFAA Conference Committee ROCKS!!

For over two years now, SDASFAA has been preparing for RMASFAA 2016. We are excited to welcome everyone to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota October 23rd – October 26th.  Our committees have been hard at work to provide an enjoyable, informative conference.

We’d like to thank the following committee leads and their remarkable teams for all of their hard work:

Deb Henriksen (Black Hills State University)

Erin Richards (South Dakota School of Mines and Technology)

David Martin (South Dakota School of Mines and Technology)

Valerie Solano (South Dakota School of Mines and Technology)

Becky Pribyl (Northern State University)

Karrie Morgan (University of Sioux Falls)

Robb Cummings (Sallie Mae)

Carmen Neugebauer (Mitchell Tech)

Ken Kocer (Mount Marty College)

Sharon Kienow (Northern State University)

Corporate Development

Mike Mutziger (Great Lakes)

Rebecca Hedrick (Discover Student Loans)

Micah Hansen (South Dakota State University)

Ken Wallace (Great Lakes)

Pre-Conference and Philanthropy

Monica Gannon (National American University)

Cheryl Glazier (South Dakota State University)

Our conference will officially kick off Sunday evening at Mount Rushmore. State photos, guest speakers, a special musical performance and dinner makes this a must attend event!

Registration is LIVE!! Do not delay! Early bird registration ends September 30th!

Did you know that a tentative agenda is posted on the RMASFAA website? Not only that, you can also review session descriptions and speaker bios too! The program committee has worked hard to create a solid agenda that will inform and engage everyone in attendance.

For the first time ever, we will be offering a NASFAA credentialing opportunity at RMASFAA! This year’s topic is Professional Judgement presented by Myra Pfannenstiel and Susan Stephenson.

Thinking about supporting RMASFAA by exhibiting at the conference? Check out the a la carte opportunities as well as the new exhibitor package HERE.

This is just a small piece of what our conference committee has been working on and we are excited to see it all come together in Rapid City! Mark your calendars! October 23th-26th and register today! Hope to see you there!

Carolyn Halgerson and Laura Schultz
