Sandy Prudhomme, Senior Financial Aid Administrator at NDSU and Jeff Jacobs, Director of Financial Aid at Bismarck State College attended NASFAA Leadership Training in Washington, D.C. March 4-6. Sandy will be the NDASFAA Treasurer and Jeff is the RMASFAA President Elect.
Joshua Brorby – Financial Aid Programs Coordinator, BSC
Joshua Brorby is a new hire at Bismarck State College in the Financial Aid Office. He started his position as Financial Aid Programs Coordinator on November 1st, 2011. Prior to working for BSC, Joshua worked for Rasmussen College in Bismarck, ND for 5 years in their Financial Aid Office (2 years as a Financial Aid Officer, and 3 years as the Manager of Student Finance).
After graduating from BSC in May 2002 with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, he transferred to University of Mary and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in December 2004 in the same field.
Joshua has lived in North Dakota all of his life. He has a Boxer, named Bella, enjoys reading, some TV, and movies, but most of his free time is spent outdoors. His winters are spent snowboarding while summers are spent at my family’s cabin on Lake Tschida, along with playing softball, and the occasional round of golf.
Rebecca Patrick – Financial Aid Associate, BSC
Rebecca began employment at BSC in September 2011 as a Financial Aid Associate. She attended BSC and received my AA & AS degree’s, and went on to earn her BA from Dickinson State University. She and her husband live in Wilton, ND where he farms small grains. Rebecca enjoys traveling, spending time & having fun with friends and family, and just being outside.
Tom Ternes – New Loan Supervisor, Bank of North Dakota (BND)
Tom Ternes recently joined Bank of North Dakota as New Loan Supervisor for Student Loan Services, replacing Kathy Knudson who retired after 33 years of service. Tom has been involved in higher education for the past four years.
Tara Spletstoser – Financial Aid Administrator, NDSU
Tara’s last day in Student Financial Services at NDSU was March 15th; she worked in the office for just over 5 years. Her new career path is with Microsoft as a Strategic Account Manager.
