Did you know that volunteering can make you live longer?
I’m not making this up. There was an actual, “official” study conducted by the Corporation for National & Community Service in 2007 that discovered individuals who volunteer live longer.
Now, I know as much as anyone that you can find statistics to prove anything. And, I think you have to ask if volunteering leads to better health or better health leads to volunteering. Regardless, the fact stands, people who volunteer are healthier, have better self-esteem and, yes, live longer.
The fact also stands that RMASFAA has 87 opportunities for you to live a long, healthy life – not counting the additional opportunities that exist in planning the RMASFAA conference. Eleven of the 12 RMASFAA committees could use a representative from each state to conduct their business. Wouldn’t it be great if that person was you?
RMASFAA has an interactive volunteer form located on the website. Who needs exercise? Who needs a better diet? Click on the link I’ve provided and start your path to a longer, healthier life.
